My mom sparked my interest in photography at a young age. Probably because I never saw her without a camera in front of her face. Now the tables have turned as my favorite subjects are my two beautiful daughters. I learned more about lighting and composition through college. I bought my first SLR camera in 1998 and my first DSLR in 2004. But while a good camera and glass helps, it’s my true opinion that a great photo is 70% photographer skill and 30% luck. Being in the right place at the right time when all of the elements come together and the shutter makes that sweet noise at the perfect moment… THAT’S what makes a great picture.
I am often asked “what’s in your bag?” So I thought I would share the gear I’m currently working with:
I highly recommend ProCam in Livonia for all equipment purchases. Great selection, lowest prices, knowledgeable staff and keeps your money in the local community!
Sweet gear!
I would love that 85.
My favorite lens is the Canon 135 2.0L The length is perfect for portraits and this lens is super sharp. You should check it out, its about the only thing on my camera these days.
