The fog rolls over San Francisco’s Twin Peaks and creeps into downtown. (Of course, the iconic Sutro Tower rises above the fog.) During my entire 36 hour shoot of the city by the bay, the fog acted like a child – constantly stepping into my composed shots. Demanding attention. Photobombing within seconds. In the end, I appreciated the exercise… making me rewrite the script with each scene.
