Lee Plaza is a beautiful art deco building on the National Register of Historic Sites. Constructed in 1929, it was the luxury hotel where celebrities and socialites stayed in Detroit. But since the early 1990s, all of the artwork, wiring, fixtures and valuable material has been removed illegally by scrappers… except for this grand piano which was built into the ballroom and is too big to remove through any door.
This 24″ x 36″ Standout is museum quality and looks more modern than traditional frame & glass. Standouts are printed on vibrant professional-grade photographic paper using a traditional canvas process. The print is customized with a lustre coating. The Standout print is mounted on a lightweight foam frame with the sleek 3/4″ thick black edging. Holes are added to the back making it ready to hang as soon as it arrives. It appears that the print is floating on a block of wood or metal but it is actually lightweight and easy to hang.
