The grand symbol of Detroit’s urban decay, Michigan Central Depot opened its doors over 100 years ago. Since Amtrak closed it in 1988, it has become a favorite hangout for homeless, scrappers, junkies and urban explorers. This 16″ x 24″ Standout is museum quality and looks more modern than traditional frame & glass. Standouts are printed on professional-grade metallic photographic paper which gives the image an appearance of depth. The Standout print is mounted on a lightweight foam frame with the sleek 3/4″ thick black edging (White or Stainless Steel edging can also be requested via email at time of order). Holes are added to the back making it ready to hang as soon as it arrives. It appears that the print is floating on a block of wood or metal but it is actually lightweight and easy to hang.
